Here is a trio of felted hedgehogs I crocheted then felted. The pattern is in the book Felted Crochet by Jane Davis. I hadn't crocheted in many years and was looking for a few projects to make that were easy. I found this book and made several items out of it. The hedgehogs were darling and I have made several for gifts for family members.

These are the Baby Cable Rib socks from the book Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch. They were knitted using Briggs and Little Sport yarn. There was enough yarn on one skein to make three adult socks. What a buy at $5.25 a skein!

This is a cabled scarf, using Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk, I made for my daugher for Christmas. I used a pattern from the internet called Good Ole Cabled Scarf which I found at www.yarnagogo.com. It was my second cabled project and I found knitting it to be a really fun challenge!

Here is an afghan I knitted for my Mom for Christmas this year. It uses the feather and fan pattern and took quite a long time to make. It was my first real lace pattern and I did enjoy knitting it. I used markers every 18 stitches and didn't lose my place while knitting. My mom doesn't like wool, so I used Caron One Pound yarn and have enough left to make some pillows to match.

This is my little peek-a-poo, Mandie, wearing a felted coat I knitted for her from Cascade 220. It has little antique buttons with purple flowers on it. The pattern is in the book, puppyknits by Jil Eaton. A very quick and fun project!

This is a shawl that I made for my Mom for Christmas. It is the garter stitch shawl from the Stahlman's Shawls and Scarves book by Myrna A. I. Stahman. I used a varigated silk yarn held with a sport weight alpaca on #9 addi turbo needles. I want to make another shawl from this book using one of the lacy patterns.

These are socks I made for my Mom for her birthday in December. The pattern is the Baby Cable Rib from the Sensational Knitted Socks book by Charlene Schurch. I used a merino/tencel blend from Ellen's 1/2 Pint farm with #1 double-pointed needles. I really like this book and am looking forward to knitting a lot more socks from it.

Here is a knitted babe that I knitted for my daughter, Meagan. There is a book titled, Knitted Babes, by Claire Garland that showcases five different knitted dolls and wardrobes for each of them. I have another one that I am almost finished with on the needles. Meagan's babe even has a boyfriend (a walrus in cool motercycle gear) and a tiny pet hedgehog.
