Here are some fingerless mittens that I wrote the pattern for. They are very easy and are perfect for new knitters. The yarn used was Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran and #4 and #5 double-pointed needles were just perfect.

These are toe-up socks using Wendy Johnson's generic pattern. The yarn is hand-dyed from Ellen's 1/2 Pint Farm in Vermont. I knit these for my daughter's 23rd birthday which was in March. I used #1 1/2 (2.5 mm) double-pointed needles and 72 stitches for the socks.

This is a tote bag before felting that I knitted using Lamb's Pride bulky yarn. I used several different techniques in this bag, some of which I hadn't used before. It is my own pattern that I just knitted as I went along.
